Emergency Management provides educational training for the public and special interest groups for prevention of and preparedness for natural and man-made disasters. It maintains current emergency operations plans for response when local capabilities are exhausted, and assists during disasters and all hazard events . A major function of this agency is active participation in Pennsylvania Region 13 Counter Terrorism Taskforce.
