· Provide a database of Somerset County Businesses that would allow a day of job shadowing for high school and college students, and displaced workers.

· Show the many different career choices that are available in Somerset County.

· Allows people the opportunities to gather information on a wide variety of career possibilities before deciding where they want to focus their career direction.

· Give people an up-close look at what a "real job" is like and how the skills they learn in school are put to use in the workplace.

· Show people what the benefits and challenges of a position are, by seeing how employees and business owners interact with their co-workers, participating in the activities that they face every day, and gain valuable insight into a job or career.
